Oh man, Stolitz’s monologue…I am a stay at home mom, I homeschool the kids. My husband has never said or insinuated anything like this to me, but I have thought these thoughts to myself. It sounds like his words had an impact on Agratta, too! Thank you for another chapter of this story!

Thank you for the feedback, as always. I'm not married (currently) so when I have people who are tell me that the dialogue sounds like or is something they've actually said (which has happened a few times, now), it feels like I've hit the target on exactly what I was trying to get across. So far it hasn't been the nice parts of the dialogue which unfortunately tells me I have a very good grasp on the dynamics of a failing marriage. I don't think that's a good sign, but hopefully it means when I finally get around to it, I'll know what NOT to do in a relationship.

I always feel that you get people right, you humanize them (and demons, too, haha) very well. Relationships are hard and complicated and you nail the intricacies. I will be looking forward to seeing how you work things out between the two here. I’m cheering for them! Knowing what not to do can be as good as knowing what to do.

Take note of the moral, kids:

If your martial problems ever reach the point that you can barely stand to be in the same room together, the threat of murder at the hands of a third party will act as a perfect starting point for the natural healing process.

I find that near death experiences have a certain way of forcing people to re-prioritize their life. Really, I'm beginning to think I should go into marriage counseling business.
